EcoGlass Terms of Service
1. Introduction
EcoGlass is a Ghanaian company based in Accra, specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of premium glass and aluminum solutions. These Terms of Service govern your use of our services and products. By engaging with EcoGlass, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Definitions
- "Client" refers to the individual or entity requesting services from EcoGlass.
- "Services" include consultation, design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of glass and aluminum products.
- "Quotation" means the official document stating the estimated costs and scope of the work.
- "Agreement" refers to the acceptance of a quotation and these Terms.
3. Scope of Services
EcoGlass provides end-to-end glass and aluminum solutions. Our offerings include:
- Site assessment and consultation
- Custom design and engineering
- Fabrication and manufacturing
- Delivery and installation
Our services do not cover demolition, structural alterations, or third-party electrical work unless explicitly agreed upon.
4. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
- Pricing includes the cost of materials, labor, and standard installation.
- Prices are subject to change based on alterations in design, material availability, or site conditions.
5. Payments and Deposits
- A 70% deposit is required to initiate production.
- The remaining 30% is due immediately upon completion of installation.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or cheque (subject to clearance).
- Late payments may attract a fee of 5% of the outstanding amount.
6. Timelines and Delays
- Estimated project timelines will be communicated in writing.
- EcoGlass is not liable for delays caused by adverse weather, supplier shortages, or client-side issues.
- Any expected delays will be communicated as early as possible.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must ensure site readiness for assessment and installation.
- Any required approvals, permits, or access must be arranged in advance.
- Clients are responsible for timely approval of designs and samples.
8. Product Warranty
- EcoGlass offers a 12-month warranty on installation and workmanship.
- The warranty covers material defects and improper installation.
- The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
9. Modifications and Cancellations
- Design changes must be submitted in writing before fabrication begins.
- Cancellations after production has started may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Refunds, if any, will be processed within 14 business days.
10. Intellectual Property
- All designs, drawings, and concepts remain the property of EcoGlass.
- EcoGlass reserves the right to use images of completed projects for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed.
11. Liability and Disclaimers
- EcoGlass is not liable for damages caused by improper use, third-party modifications, or underlying structural issues.
- Clients agree to indemnify EcoGlass from third-party claims arising from misuse or misrepresentation.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
- EcoGlass collects client information solely for service delivery and communication.
- We are committed to protecting client data and do not share information with third parties without consent.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved under Ghanaian jurisdiction.
14. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should first be addressed through negotiation.
- If unresolved, both parties agree to mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.
- The courts of Accra will serve as the final jurisdiction.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By signing a quotation or engaging our services, the client agrees to these Terms of Service in full.
